Post-16 Courses

Based at the newly redeveloped Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol City Community Trust is providing post-16 male and female students, of all academic and playing abilities, the perfect opportunity to enrol onto one of five exciting college courses.

With the Community Trust achieving a 100% pass rate in previous years, the Trust is now classified as the number one education provider in the Football League tables.

The Community Trust’s course content combines academic studies with a practical sporting experience and all the courses are free to enrol onto, with the exception of the Foundation Degree.

The educational programmes provided by the Community Trust are:

Students who enrol onto any of the Trust’s two-year courses also have the unique opportunity to train twice a week and play weekly against other professional clubs and athletes, whilst representing Bristol City FC.

In addition to the obligatory course requirements, the Community Trust provides students with a diverse range of extra-curriculum activities throughout the academic year. Such activities range in size and scale, with the most sought-after including national and international tours to professional clubs and stadia.

With the Trust’s close relationship with Bristol City FC, successful students also have access to work experience with both the football club and the Community Trust. This is viewed as being highly beneficial to the students, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge within the field, which can assist in future employment.

All of our educational programmes have limited spaces, and they always prove to be extremely popular. If you could be interested in enrolling onto one of our educational courses, please contact us at the earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment.

Remember, no matter what grades you achieve at GCSE, Bristol City Community Trust has a course for you.
